How to Apply Mineral Powder Foundation

Just about every woman yearns to find that magic makeup combination that makes her skin look flawless, doesn't feel heavy or caked on and makes her feel confident in her skin. Mineral makeup gives a weightless, airbrushed look. Mineral powder foundation is applied with a brush and is blended into the face for a natural look while offering the coverage of a liquid foundation. Many woman may be intimidated to try mineral powder foundation but knowing the steps will make the application go smoothly.                        

 

Instructions

      Cleanse your face with a facial cleanser.

      Moisturize your skin with a moisturizer that is appropriate for your skin type.

    Apply a liquid primer to your skin to smooth fine lines and allow the makeup to go on smoother and wear longer.

    Allow your lotion and primer to dry completely before beginning to apply the mineral powder foundation. If you can't wait, blot your face with a tissue or apply blotting powder to your skin with the kabuki brush.

    Tap some mineral powder foundation into the lid of the container. Swirl your kabuki brush into the powder and tap the handle on the brush with your finger to remove any excess.

    Begin at the outer edges of your face and apply the foundation to your face using a circular motion. Work your way inward to nose and cheeks.

    Apply more foundation with a circular motion to any areas that may need it.

    Dip a concealer brush into the powder foundation and tap the powder onto areas that need extra coverage like under your eyes and on any blemishes.
