Most people with hooded eyes such as myself, It's hard to defined the crease due to more puffiness in the above the eyelids.

I have to use a smaller makeup brush because my eyes are very small and I work better with the smaller brushes. My eye shadow melts quicker due to my oily eyelids.

To give the illusion look ,put the crease color above the hooded eye. Blend a matte shadow over the crease to give it a flawless look.
